Le Sheppard Music / Original Songs / "A Writer; A Painter"

Born May 13 1956 and grew up with the Sheppard Family being such a creative, artistic, and musical family with my Grandfather being an Irish poet, my Uncle being a wonderful artist, and my Father being a most talented musician (Pop was my major musical influence along with The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Springsteen Live, and Prince). After graduating from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 1974, I went directly into playing in many local bands while writing / recording my original songs at home. My studio "demos" were released in 1979, 1980, 1982, 1983, 1985, and 1986. I recorded at Morning Star Studios (Glenn Barratt engineering except where noted), Kajem / Victory Studios, and at home in Logic. I am the Owner / Digital Artist at TSGcreations, married to Mary Jane Tettemer (now Sheppard) and the proud father to Maggie P Sheppard. "Creation is everything to me. Creating a hook, a melody, saying something, stirring an emotion, creating original art or music from nothing to something. Always wrote - Always drew". 1994 demo with enhancements. Dedicated to Mary Jane (Tettemer now Sheppard) ... fellow 1974 classmate at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School / PW and my wife since 1997. Lucky man.

Song Story ... October 15, 1994 - Mary Jane Tettemer and I (Le Sheppard) attended our 20th Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Reunion (we went to school together at PW graduating 1974). Mary Jane had a crush on me in high school while sitting next to me for whole year in double period art major class - but in 1973 girls did not ask boys out. I was blind — Back to 20 years later in 1994. While both of us were heading to the rest rooms, she told me she had a crush on me in high school. Sparks flew to say the least. I never slept that night and "What A Thing To Say" was written the next morning at my brother's kitchen table. Weeks later we were together. 3 years later we were married and blessed with the birth of our beautiful daughter Maggie Sheppard and bought our 22 year home. No matter where life takes, every day we celebrate our bladders, our love, our Maggie P, and all the magic still blessing us daily on this journey. LOVE rules in our Sheppard home.
